These are a Few of my Favorite things!

My number one favorite thing is watching the winter Olympics. I've been addicted to watching them summer and winter since I was a little kid, I think it's the coolest couple weeks in sports, I don't really watch a lot of sports on television except for cycling races and the Olympics so when they come around, it's mighty exciting in this household.

This photo. I makes me want to hang on farm fences and hay wagons and let the clouds roll by.

I LOVE Nutella...probably too much. spoonfuls are the preferred method of consumption
Hot Chip. Just go and dance.

Color Monday Valentines (Little Pink houses for you and me)

As an ode to Valentines day I've searched for some inspirational pictures of love, hearts, and sweets. I was listening to John Mellencamp on the radio, the song Little Pink houses, and felt inspired to find some images. This top photo of this cottage is one of my favorites. I hope you had a wonderful valentines day. I made a bunch of hand carved stamp valentines, and made a fun Birthday gift for my mom who's special day is coming up in a few days. I was pretty tired all day due to late night dinner parties and music having, so it was pretty un eventful. I did however receive some lovely shelves, chocolate, and a couple of books. As usual, a bunch of photos from weheartit. com are involved unless otherwise stated. Enjoy the imagery!

Bronze Color Monday (on Thursday instead)

this is one of the most beautiful images, in color and design that I've seen in a long time...

That's right, that's 3 days of procrastination on the color Monday post. I even started collecting images early last week, I don't think anyone will mind. So here it goes, here's to bronze bodies, summertime, sculpture, and beauty! This was a fun one, there are so many different colors and uses of bronze, it's utilitarian, it's formed into deities for worship, it tells time in huge clocks, we eat out of it, and when we take third place, it hangs around our necks. It's one of those colors (like all the metals) that encompass all color.

I was looking at a knitting project book this evening, and though I have dreadlocks and can no longer pull off the smaller fitted hat look, I love the look of cloch hats. Here are some images of inspiration!
